    Golf Course Information

The RACV Cape Schanck Resort proudly boasts an 18-hole championship golf course that stands as a testament to both its natural surroundings and meticulous design. This course holds a storied history, having been meticulously crafted by renowned golf course architect Robert Trent Jones Jnr. Known for his masterful integration of courses with their environments, Jones artfully incorporated the rugged coastal terrain into the layout, providing golfers with a challenging yet breathtaking experience. The course’s strategic design ensures players navigate undulating fairways and greens, all while being treated to sweeping vistas of the stunning Mornington Peninsula coastline.

The golf course is similar to the National’s Old Course, but perhaps not quite as bold or striking. It does, however, sit on the same tract of land at Cape Schanck which is halfway between St Andrews Beach and Flinders. The golf course is reflective of Jones’ large bunkers, wide fairways, and challenging greens. Finding the fairway from the tee shouldn’t be an issue, but pay close attention to how you approach each green as there are tight angles, undulations, bunkers and unstable lies everywhere you look.
