TEAM ET & V.G: COVID-19 PANDEMIC STATEMENT (Revised 21st Jan 2021)
Events Travel and Voyages.Golf are currently selling International events beyond August 2021 to include Fiji Golf Week. We anticipate that some regional travel bubbles will be announced from April onwards to include New Zealand, Fiji, the Cook Islands and possibly some other Pacific nations. The next step will be what are deemed as safe corridors in Asia to potentially include Singapore and Vietnam. The roadblock with these corridors is the possible acceptance of travellers from less safe nations than ours. Others such as Hong Kong, China, South Korea, Thailand, and Japan are dependent on their management of the pandemic and the risk to Australians who are not vaccinated. The effectiveness of vaccines in reducing the spread of the virus is yet to be determined however it is likely that for any meaningful travel in the future a Vaccine Passport will be required. This is being developed and is being rolled out by some airlines at this time. This is in effect no different to historical and current vaccination requirements to some parts of Africa.
Reservations are being taken now for UK residents for UK events such as the 149th and 150th Open Championships. We are also taking reservations for USA based events for sales within the United States and from the USA to the UK for 2022. For UK events such as Wimbledon we now have rates available for 2022.
By the second quarter of 2021 we will also be on sale for Rugby World Cup France 2023.
For reservations inbound into Australia we can accept bookings based on our Covid policy for events in 2022 such as AO. We expect Inbound sales to be possible once Regional and Pacific Travel bubbles are formulated.
Bookings for sales within Australia for all listed Australian events, are being taken now and our Covid-19 policies apply. This involves Australian Open (register now), Supercars, ANZAC day AFL and as soon as possible the Bledisloe Cup, The Rugby Championship, and the Wallabies vs. France Tests in Australia. Once ticketing is available, we will be offering State of Origin and the NRL Grand Final along with the Australian F1 Grand Prix in November.
Our Tasmania Golf Cruise 2022 is also on sale now.
Our general policies and guidelines about changes due to Covid-19 can be seen on our terms and conditions page.
Like all travel companies we have had to re-evaluate and re-size our business to meet current demand. Since March 2020 we have been and still are fully operational 5 days per week creating new products and managing long range bookings.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.
Stay safe and well,
Glenn Hedley, Founder & Director
