The course is gentle and able to be enjoyed by golfers of all abilities. The scenery is lovely and the atmosphere supremely tranquil. The Silvermine River comes into play on various holes, as does various ponds and lakes which makes the course much more picturesque than your usual parkland layouts. Tight fairways make up for a shorter course, so accuracy is demanded from the first tee.

The Pro Shop at Clovelly Country Club is run by Global Golf, who bring upmarket golf equipment and apparel to South Africa from America.
