Golf Course Information

Tetherow Golf Club in Bend, Oregon boasts a visually striking par 72 layout that was designed by award-winning architect David McLay Kidd. The routing takes full advantage of the stunning panoramic views of the Cascade peaks, including Three Sisters, Broken Top and even Mt. Hood on a very clear day! Tetherow was built in 2008 on land that was decimated from a forest fire right outside of Bend, and is distinctly different than any of the other top courses in the high desert of Central Oregon. It plays like a links course, but the feel of the undulations in both the fairways and the greens is wild. It tends to divide golfers who play it into one of two groups: love it or hate it.

Either way, one cannot fault the masterpiece of David McLay Kidd, who shaped the greens in such diverse variety that no two putts are ever the same, and an above-par round is considered great. The choices for shots on most fairways are endless; there are raised greens, doglegs around lakes, large shrubs and undulating hills on almost every hole that lead to blind shots. The conditions are immaculate, and caddies/forecaddies are required for play.

Accommodation

Deluxe Corner King Room

This is a large King room with a corner location that boasts breathtaking views of the golf course and Cascade mountain range. It features a fireplace, balcony and wet bar, and several are dog-friendly. An additional sleeper sofa gives this room wonderful versatility, style and function. Corner rooms offer additional windows and natural lighting – enjoy Bend’s 300 days of sunlight a year a little more in a corner room!

Deluxe King Room

Sink into this luxurious King bed while enjoying views that seem to improve every day. Take in the mountain and golf course views while enjoying the spa-style bathroom, a fireplace, balcony and wet bar, let the relaxation begin! An additional sleeper sofa gives this room wonderful versatility, style and function!

Junior Suite

The Junior Suite fits up to 6 people and boasts a separate bedroom and living area. Suites are Southern facing (towards the parking lot). This 100m² suite offers two queen beds and a sleeper sofa, two TVs, a gas fireplace, and the bathroom has dual sinks, walk-in showers, luxurious terry cloth bathrobes and custom bath toiletries.

South Fork

Mountain contemporary home with abundant natural light, two car detached garage, single level, with large rear covered patio. North-western views toward the Cascade Range. Storm King

Resort Dining

The Row

Serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and night-caps 7 days a week. There are no reservations, & it’s Tetherow’s version of a pub. The Row is a pub-style, casual, family friendly dining experience. With 12 beer taps, over 30 bottled/canned beers and a menu that offers both American and Scottish-inspired items, The Row is one of the best places to eat in Bend, Oregon. They have been ranked #1 for ‘Bend’s Best Burgers’ by VisitBend.

Solomon’s

A modern and elevated dining experience, the culinary experience is topped off with stunning sunsets over the Cascade Mountain Range. Solomon’s rotating menu highlights vibrant offerings from the Pacific Northwest where pheasant, elk and seafood are thoughtfully prepared alongside vegetarian creations and decadent desserts. With representations from the finest viticulture of the West Coast region, the extensive wine collection will perfectly accent any meal. The Café

The Cafe is located on the main level of the Tetherow Sport building. It is open only to Tetherow members and lodging guests and offers a fresh option for amazing on-site resort dining. The Cafe offers a delicious, fresh selection of made-to-order and grab and go options. Sandwiches, bowls, salads, smoothies, coffee drinks and a full bar are available. Enjoy the entire menu poolside and in the cabanas, as well! With comfortable and versatile seating, the Cafe is a great place to fuel up for a workout, wind down after a busy day or simply grab a quick, healthy bite on your way.

Resort Facilities

Golf Lessons

On the eastern edge of the lower driving range, you will find the state-of-the-art training facility. This golf game improvement centre has two hitting bays that overlook the range and offer mountain views. On a sunny day, the doors are wide open for the full golf experience. In the colder months, the doors close and have nets to allow indoor practice. The covered outdoor hitting bay has overhead heaters to keep you comfortable on crisp mornings. The Tetherow Golf Academy is open year-round, and the friendly staff provides lessons for all levels of athletes. Lessons are available to Tetherow Members, lodging guests and anyone hoping to improve their game!

Trackman 4

Tetherow is the only facility in Bend, Oregon with the TrackMan 4 — the same technology used by the pros! The TrackMan 4 is available for lessons, fittings and events. About the size of a laptop, the TrackMan 4 launch monitor provides analytics about what happens to a golf ball when it’s struck by a club. It’s an amazing tool for custom golf club fitting and teaching.

(The TrackMan 4 uses) two radar systems instead of one to obtain maximum data quality and increased pick up rates. One radar system tracks everything the club does before, during, and after impact – from commonly known parameters like Club Path and Face Angle to Swing Direction and Spin Loft. The other radar system tracks the full ball flight – from launch to landing and everything in between; including Launch Angle, Spin Rate and curvature.

Pool & Cabanas

Tetherow’s heated outdoor pool is accompanied by hot tubs, cabanas, fire pits, a cafe and plenty of space for relaxing and unwinding. Cabanas are available for a memorable pool day and can also be reserved for private parties and intimate outdoor events. These state-of-the-art cabanas offer comfortable seating, adjustable privacy screens, heaters, adjustable roofs and power outlets.

Fitness

Tetherow Sport includes fitness and mind/body programming, cardio and weight machines, steam room and sauna, and personal training options. State-of-the-art cardio machines feature 19-inch touch screens with access to virtual coaching, Netflix, the internet and television.

How to Get There

The Tetherow Resort is right on the edge of the popular town Bend, making the drive under 10-minutes. The closest airport is at Redmond, which is just 25-minutes’ drive.
