    Golf Course Information

This challenging 18-hole, 5,944-metre / 6,501-yard, par-71 championship layout is situated between the sea and the coast range. The course has recently reopened following a major redesign authored by Jacobsen Hardy Golf Course Design. The redesign included 18 new green complexes, an additional 400 yards and stunning new views. The back nine is situated on the west side of HWY 101 and winds along Siletz Bay near the ocean. The front nine lies on the other side of the high way on a picturesque hillside setting. Salishan Golf Links in known for its merciless roughs that gobble up errant hit golf balls. If you are looking for a challenging course along the beautiful Oregon coast, Salishan is sure to please.

Fairways and greens have bent grass, and the views are to die for. When trying to avoid rough cut grass, be sure to take pictures of the surrounds, they are unbeatable. Golf facilities also include a pro shop, rental clubs & carts, and a driving range. A restoration of the golf course and lodge in 2004 has created a stunning golf course while providing a beautiful setting for a peaceful getaway. On the front nine, the trouble appears in the form of thick forest lined fairways with water coming into play. Move to the back nine and you are avoiding sand dunes and tall grass, all while negotiating the coastal winds. Being at the beach the sand plays a strong role, providing risk reward opportunities throughout the round.  Whether you are staying at the Resort, or just visiting the Central Oregon coast, Salishan is a must stop for any golf aficionado.
