Fiji Golf Week 2023

Golfers of all levels are invited to the tropical islands of Fiji for a fun-spirited golf event in August 2023 It’s time to take a break and experience ‘island life’—where time passes slowly and calmly. You’ve earned it.
Fiji Golf Week is a fun golf tournament with daily prizes and a relaxing atmosphere. This tournament requires a valid golf handicap to participate. Golfers without an official handicap are welcome to participate but will not be eligible for any prizes. Individual Stableford is the format. The tournament is held over 7 nights at 5-star accommodation with four rounds of golf and two functions with drinks & food included. A day-trip to Tivua Island on the rest day is also included. Come for the great golf, food & wine, and stay for the company.
There will be daily prizes, a huge overall winner’s prize and an incredible hole-in-one-prize to The 152nd Open at Royal Troon valued at over AU$20,000! Non-golfers can choose from a range of activities; including island experiences and sailing adventures. All travellers can extend their stay in Fiji to visit outer islands, snorkel or take an extra few days to sit-back and enjoy island life.

Event Information
Golf Week is all about having fun. You book and pay for four rounds of golf or a week of fun non-golf activities (for non-golfing partners & friends). It is a friendly competition with some great prizes to be won.
Scoring is based on the best aggregate Stableford score for three rounds out of four (automatically drop your worst round if you have a bad day).
Golf Week takes place at least once a year. The Golf Week destination each year is selected from our Rota (below). A Golf Week may feature at the same destination in consecutive years, but when that occurs, there will be a another Golf Week in a different location that same year.

Non-Golfers
Non-golfer price reflects golfer’s package without golf rounds (Charter cruise included on the Wednesday for all). Enjoy a reduced package price & add extra activities as you see fit (see activities list)
Flights & Airport Transfers – Group transfers are only included with our group flights. If you are arranging your own flights we can add private airport transfers for A$38 per person return.

Accommodation
The Sheraton Fiji Resort & Villas are Denarau Island’s premier accommodation options. Located directly opposite Denarau Golf Club, the Resort rooms have recently been refurbished with a modern facelift. The 5-star hotel has a waterfront restaurant, buffet restaurant, and a terrace poolside restaurant overlooking the Pacific Ocean as well as a grab-and-go coffee shop. The newly renovated Resort has rooms overlooking the ocean or garden with private balconies or patios, as well as a lagoon pool and beachfront pool. The Villas offer larger accommodation options for families or groups wanting to share a multi-bedroom villa complete with various lounges and a full-sized kitchen with two bedrooms per villa.

Local Rules
- All rules as per the USGA & R&A are followed during this friendly tournament with the following exceptions:
- Local course rules
- Bula Drop: To speed up play, players may take relief from a hazard or unplayable lie for a one-stroke penalty. The drop must be within 2 club lengths of the original position, no nearer the hole. This is designed to avoid going back to the tee if you lose a golf ball.
Pairings
You will have the opportunity to play with your friends and travelling partners. Two out of four rounds will be with friends & travelling partners. The other two will be random pairings. One caveat is that daily winners will automatically be paired with new players for their next round, regardless of the pairing structure.
Denarau Golf Club
One of Fiji’s premier golf courses, the Denarau Golf and Racquet Club is situated in the heart of the Pacific Nation’s tourist hub. The Golf Club is one of the most accessible courses on Fiji’s main island of Viti Levu, just 20-minutes’ drive from Nadi International Airport. The golf course features 18 holes designed by Japanese golf architect Eiichi Motobashi; it opened in 1993 and has since become one of Fiji’s Top 3 Championship Golf Courses.
Natadola Bay Championship Course
Set on Fiji’s Coral Coast, the Natadola Bay Golf Course overlooks the Pacific Ocean. The golf course is located on the coral coast, southwest of Nadi. Natadola Bay Championship Golf Course was designed by Heritage Golf, along with Vijay Singh and Greg Letsche. The site was home to the Fiji International tournament until 2018, but the course remains world-class in terms of challenge, quality and excitement. Nearby resort accommodation at the Intercontinental Fiji Resort provides a luxurious yet affordable holiday to Fiji’s best golf course, overlooking the Coral Coast.
