    Millbrook Resort Golf

Consisting of three different courses that comprise nine holes each, Millbrook Resort is the brainchild of Sir Bob Charles. A championship venue, Millbrook Resort has hosted various tournaments including the 2020 New Zealand Open. The 27-hole course is comprised of The Arrow nine, The Coronet nine, and The Remarkables Nine, with all three courses in rotation throughout the year. The choice of three different 18-hole combinations makes Millbrook a favourite for travelling golfers, who enjoy a different experience each time they visit. Incorporating the stunning Arrowtown scenery and topography into a world-class golf course, Millbrook Resort reinvents the layout of golf.

    Jack’s Point Golf Course

One the world’s most picturesque golf courses, Jack’s Point Golf Course has been turning heads in the international golf community for over a decade. Set just south of Queenstown, wedged between the foothills of The Remarkables mountain range and shores of Lake Wakatipu, Jack’s Point was created by John Darby of Darby Partners Golf Design. Featuring four different tee positions, Jack’s Point Golf Course can be enjoyed by golfers of all levels. The golf course is always kept immaculately in all conditions. Golfers will see dramatic rocky outcrops, dry-stone walls, wetlands and native scrub around the Queenstown golf course.

    Arrowtown Golf Course

Picturesque, rustic and charming, the Arrowtown Golf Course is awe-inspiring during all seasons. Located just 20-minutes’ drive from Queenstown, the Arrowtown Golf Course features historic stone cottage ruins with fairways weaving between rocky outcrops and sublime alpine views whenever you look up. A relatively short golf course, we recommend walking the course to enjoy the serenity.

    The Hills Golf Course

Privately owned, The Hills Golf Club is an experience to remember. Designed by the Darby Partners, The Hills opened in 2007. Set on 500 acres of land across a glacial valley, The Hills golf course is as immersive as it gets. The incredible scenery of the alpine mountains and the surrounding valley is complemented on the golf course with sculptures dotted around the complex. There are no parallel fairways and no two holes alike; some holes wind through gullies of sheer rock, while others open onto vast expanses with distant snow-capped mountains framing the greens. The Hills is a truly unforgettable golf experience.

    Rydges Lakeland Resort

With undisturbed views over Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkables mountain range, Rydges Lakeland Resort is one of Queenstown’s highest-regarded accommodation options. Free Wi-Fi throughout the complex enhances your experience throughout your stay. The four distinct seasons make Queenstown beautiful at all times of the year, any Rydges Lakeland Resort offers a fantastic hub from which to base your Queenstown golf holiday. Rydges Lakeland Resort is just minutes by foot from the heart of Queenstown, so you don’t need a car to explore its shops and restaurants.

An outdoor jacuzzi and heated pool offer a great place to unwind at the end of a long day. The Bazaar Interactive Marketplace offers travellers a gourmet culinary experience with some of the best views in Queenstown. The Resort also has Reds Bar, which is where resident DJ’s play into the night and an extensive cocktail menu showcases a twist on the modern and forgotten. A fantastic wine and beer menu also complement a delightful space to watch the sun setting over The Remarkables mountain range.

    Shotover Jet Boat Ride (Included)

Queenstown’s renowned Shotover Jet was established in 1965 and has contributed significantly to Queenstown’s reputation as the adventure capital of the world. The boat roars through canyons, around rock formations and dangerously close to rocky shores. You can expect gravity-defying 360 degree turns, 90-kilometre-an-hour wall-to-wall canyon action. Each ride goes for approximately 25-minutes.

    Queenstown Cable Car (Skyline Queenstown)

Over 450 metres high, Skyline Queenstown, is the steepest in the Southern Hemisphere. Offering panoramic views over Queenstown, Lake Wakatipu and the snowcapped Remarkables mountain range. While up there, have a snack or coffee from the bar, or take a thrilling ride on the luge (only for the able-bodied!)

    Glenorchy

Considered one of the most scenic drives in the Southern Hemisphere, Queenstown to Glenorchy follows the edge of Lake Wakatipu west then north, with mountains offering a high horizon, and the shore of the lake coming and going with the snaking road. Ancient beech forests, pristine lakes and rivers combine to make the small town of Glenorchy a stunning destination. It sits at the southern edge of Mount Aspiring and Fiordland National Parks, with many filming locations for The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings movie. The drive is 45-minutes one-way; we recommend having a picnic or pub lunch in Glenorchy and exploring the Dart River area during your half-day trip.

    Arrowtown

Quirky, charming and rustic, Arrowtown is a picturesque little village just 20-minutes from Queenstown. The main street feels magical, it showcases its mining-town heritage with an old-world Western façade. Full of fantastic shops, galleries, restaurants, bars and scenic walks, Arrowtown is a must-visit destination.

    Wanaka

Just over an hour’s drive from Queenstown lies the wonderful lakeside town of Wanaka. It is a great destination for a day trip if you depart early; the drive through the southern alpine region is sensational in every season. You can explore the Gibbston Valley and Kawarau Gorge, as well as a nice lunch in the Wanaka region with a stop-off drink and nibble at the iconic Cardrona Hotel pub.
