Voyages.golf Charters Coral Geographer for 2022 Cruise

Coral Adventurer cruise ship

The last golf cruise undertaken by Voyages.golf and Events Travel was in 2010 when we travelled the length of New Zealand. In 2022, we charter the brand new Coral Geographer ship to travel from Melbourne to Hobart. The inaugural golf cruise will encompass eleven nights with six rounds of golf, and include three nights in the brand new Tasman Hotel in Hobart, part of the Luxury Collection Hotels by Marriott.

The Australian-owned and operated Coral Expeditions company are building the Coral Geographer ship which will be ideally positioned to host a luxury golf cruise in the summer of 2021/2022. Departing Melbourne, the Voyages.golf Signature Experience will travel to King Island, playing both Cape Wickham Links and Ocean Dunes. From there, we head to the Tasmania mainland port of Bridport, playing Barnbougle Dunes and Lost Farm, before heading down the East Coast past the Bay of Fires, Bicheno, Freycinet Peninsula & Wineglass Bay and Bruny Island. Last, we sail up the mighty Derwent River into Tasmania’s capital of Hobart, where we disembark and spend our remaining days exploring the best the city has to offer and playing Tasmania Golf Club as well as Royal Hobart Golf Club. Those travelling from afar are encouraged to take a 2-night pre-cruise extension in Melbourne, staying at the 5-star Sofitel on Collins and playing Royal Melbourne West Golf Course

Join us in 2022 for a luxury golf cruise

There has never been a better time to schedule a golf cruise to Tasmania. With global uncertainty surrounding international travel, why not join an all-Australian golf voyage around Tasmania. Non-golfers are welcome and there is a complete non-golfer itinerary with guided expeditions and non-golfing activities throughout. There is also no better way to visit King Island than by ship (most visits to Cape Wickham and Ocean Dunes are by chartered flights). See more information about the golf cruise here.
