Golf Course Information

Terre Blanche Golf Club is one of the world’s most prestigious destinations for golf lovers. Architect Dave Thomas has skilfully capitalised on the existing contours and natural features of this magnificent site. His trademark jagged-edge bunkers feature on the two 18-hole courses: Le Château and Le Riou. This true golfers’ paradise is set in stunning surroundings and brings together performance and love for the game. Terre Blanche was voted the Best Golf Course in France 2017 by 350,000 voters at LeadingCourses.com, Europe’s biggest golf course comparison site. And in the UK, the notable magazine Golf World (UK) gave Terre Blanche top ranking as the Best Golf Resort in Continental Europe (2018-2019).

Le Chateau Golf Course

The 18-hole course is 6616 metres / 7235 yards long and is the most demanding of the two courses. The bunkers and greens enable players to experience the true playing conditions of a championship course. Le Chateau course stands out for its spectacular water features. Each year in September Le Chateau Course hosts the ‘French Riviera Masters’, the only Senior European Tour championship in France. The course is ranked N°14 in Continental Europe by Golf World. Its lovely hilly spaces are accessible to golfers with a handicap/index under 35.

Le Riou Golf Course

Le Riou offers vertiginous views over the Provencal villages. This challenging 18-hole course is 6005-metre / 6567-yard long and features steep fairways and elaborate greens. Calling for a large variety of strokes, it requires a strong and experienced game strategy. Access to this course is limited to members of the Club and their guests, as well as clients of the hotel. It is also the venue for an Open of the Ladies European Tour Access Series, the “Terre Blanche Ladies Open”.

Driving Range

Open 7 days a week, the driving range has 64 bays on two levels. Half are undercover and flood-lit on the ground floor and the other half are outside on the 1st floor. A grass driving range area is open from May to October. 2 outdoor putting greens, 1 indoor putting green, 2 approach greens and bunkers complete the list of short game facilities available.

Golf Academy

The Albatros Golf Performance Center is home to the Terre Blanche Golf Academy. The Golf Academy is open throughout the year and offers a wide range of courses relating to all aspects of the game. The coaching programme is designed to respond the needs of players of all ages and levels: beginners, experienced amateurs and tour professionals.

Biomecaswing Centre

This centre, the only one of its kind in Europe, is headed by Jean-Jacques Rivet, an osteopath and accomplished athlete, and combines the use of biomechanics and modern technology. This concept involves undertaking an analysis of your body shape, posture, mobility and the intensity of each movement to build a full understanding of your swing so that you can refine and optimise your game.

Accommodation

Deluxe Suites

With an area of 60 m², Deluxe Suite offers comfort and space in surroundings that are both elegant and relaxed. The spacious bedroom has a King size bed, a large dressing room with an enormous separate living area with a sofa bed to accommodate an additional adult. The spacious marble bathroom has a shower and separate bathtub. Shaded by the surrounding oaks and pine trees, enjoy the stunning countryside as you take your breakfast, sitting comfortably on your Suite’s private terrace. Hotel guests benefit from access to the outdoor infinity pool with stunning panoramic views over the villages, as well as unlimited access to Terre Blanche Spa.

Premier Suites

Spacious Premier Suites have an area of 60 m². They have been thoughtfully appointed in order to offer you top of the range services. Rooms have been designed with simplicity and understated luxury in mind, and in colours redolent of Provence. The bedroom has a King size bed or two Queen size beds, a large dressing room and an enormous separate living area with a sofa bed to accommodate an extra adult or two children under 12. The spacious bathroom has a shower and bathtub. Hotel guests benefit from access to the outdoor infinity pool with stunning panoramic views over the hillside villages of Pays de Fayence, as well as unlimited access to Terre Blanche Spa.

Premier Suites

At the heart of the 5* Resort, Premier Villas guarantee an exclusive break in unique surroundings. A décor of light shades and terra cotta bring together light, space and relaxation in perfect harmony. Perfect for long stays, Premier Villas offer comfort and quality time for families. Each Villa can be interconnected to another Premier Suite or Premier Villa to give you even more room. A Premier Villa is particularly spacious with an area of 100 m² and a 40 m² private terrace. In these intimate surroundings, you will be soothed by a sense of absolute calm. The generous living area comprises a lounge with a sofa bed, a dining area where you can enjoy a meal in complete tranquillity as well as a study. The bedroom features a King size bed, a large bathroom with a free-standing bathtub and a spacious shower. A second bathroom provides an additional shower and toilet.

Villa Prestige “Méditerranée”

Discretely tucked away from Terre Blanche 5* Hotel’s other Suites and Villas, Méditerranée Villa’s have beautiful, bright living spaces. Perfect for both short and long breaks with friends or as a couple or family, Méditerranée Villa offers you a chance to relax and get away from it all. Fashioned from natural materials and in warm tones, the Méditerranée Villa will delight those seeking tranquillity, comfort and privacy. This beautiful Provençal-style villa with a living space of 100 m² has a garden accessed via the lounge or bedroom. Its bedroom boasts a King size bed with a top-of-the-range mattress, two dressing rooms and a bathroom with shower and bathtub. There is also a sofa bed in the lounge allowing you to accommodate an additional adult or two children under 18. Enjoy the peaceful, sun-soaked days of Provence Côte d’Azur in total tranquillity at the 12 m² pool, which is surrounded by comfortable loungers.

Esterel & Provence Villas

Villa Provence and Villa Estérel are two free-standing villas boasting 200 m² of living space each. Set slightly apart from the 5 Star hotel’s other suites and villas, Estérel & Provence Villas guarantee you absolute privacy, in the heart of a lush natural environment. Estérel and Provence Villas each have a living area of 200 m². Each villa has two bedrooms, each with their own lounge, dining room, two bathrooms, a kitchen and a vast private terrace with a jacuzzi. Provence Villa’s two bedrooms both have King size beds, whilst Estérel Villa has one bedroom with a King size bed and one with two Queen size beds. The lounge is furnished with a sofa bed suitable for one additional adult or two children under 18. The two spacious bathrooms have a shower and a bathtub.

Terre Blanche Prestige Villa

Terre Blanche Villa is the most luxurious of all Terre Blanche 5* Hotel’s villas. With an impressive living area of 300 m², Terre Blanche Villa guarantees you absolute comfort for short or long breaks as a family, a couple or with friends. Freedom, luxury and privacy, all within a lush oasis in Provence Côte d’Azur. Boasting an impressive living area of 300 m², Terre Blanche has a spacious lounge, a living room with a desk and library with fine woodwork as well as a dining room with a separate kitchen. The master bedroom is a restful retreat that opens onto the terrace, offering you all the comfort and amenities you will need during your break: A King size bed, a large dressing room and a truly sublime marble bathroom. Also boasting two suites with private terrace, Terre Blanche Villa has two further bedrooms, one with a King size bed and the other with two Queen size beds. There is a sofa bed in the lounge of both suites enabling you to accommodate an additional adult or two children under the age of 18.

Resort Dining

There is something for everybody at Terre Blanche: Light lunches at Les Caroubiers with a view over the golf course, Michelin-starred dining on the terrace at Le Faventia (1* Michelin restaurant) overlooking the Pays de Fayence, the unmissable Gaudina with its stylish brasserie ambiance and poolside meals at Le Tousco. Don’t forget that there is also Le Pitchoun for the children and, in summer, Le Patio, just right for family meals in summery and relaxed surroundings.

Le Gaudina

Le Gaudina’s jazz lounge vibe, grand piano and art works create a warm and inviting ambiance. This is an elegant yet friendly restaurant with all the charms of a stylish brasserie where you can enjoy dinner, brunch or relish a drink at the bar or on the terrace. The menu offers light and sophisticated Provençal fare.

Clubhouse: Les Caroubiers

Les Caroubiers looks out onto the Golf Club and is the place to take a refreshing break in the Clubhouse, perfect for golfers. Meet in this stylish, sporty environment for lunch, by the fireplace or on the terrace depending on the time of year and enjoy the panoramic view over the final hole at the Riou course.

Le Fentia, 1* Michelin Restaurant

The hotel’s gourmet restaurant offers a panoramic view over the unspoilt villages and the hills of the Pays de Fayence. The enchanting decor and sycamore tables create an understated and elegant ambiance. Chef Philippe Jourdin showcases the cuisine of the South of France, taking a little inspiration from the seasons, Provence itself and from the local produce he uses.

Le Tousco

Enjoy a relaxed lunch next to the infinity pool at Le Tousco, the hotel’s summer restaurant. On its shady terrace based around a stately Provençal-style fountain, the restaurant offers a buffet of salads, tasty grilled fish and meats as well as an assortment of desserts. Adjoining Le Tousco, Le Pitchoun is for children up to 12 years old and has its own menu specially created by a dietician.

Le Patio

Le Patio, located at the heart of the hotel, is open from springtime. Make the most of its sunny terrace and enjoy breakfast here. During summer evenings it transforms itself into a friendly and musical Lounge-Bar where guests can tuck into a selection of snacks (mixed salads, club sandwiches…), tapas or yet sipping delicious cocktails with friends.

The Proshop

Located on the ground floor of the Clubhouse, the Proshop is the place to book your tee times and find out about competitions. This store is entirely dedicated to golf equipment so don’t forget to pay a visit! The Proshop stocks a wide range of apparel from top brands including Ralph Lauren, Bogner, Oscar Jacobson and Adidas: polo shirts, trousers, shoes, accessories and, of course, Terre Blanche branded balls and other products.

Classes in the Pool

The Terre Blanche Spa offers a myriad of group classes in the pool designed and led by our professional instructors for everyone who wants to experience the benefits of exercising in the water, whatever their fitness level. Perfect for getting in shape or improving fitness levels, our different classes are an ideal way of unwinding, losing weight, sculpting your body or building endurance at your own pace.

Fitness Classes

Every day from 8:00am to 11:45am and from 6:45pm to 8:30pm, discover a wide range of classes at different intensity levels tailored for those at beginner, intermediate or advanced levels. Led by qualified fitness instructors, we offer group or individual classes to support you in achieving all of your sporting goals. Pilates, Zumba, cardio circuit training, hatha yoga, stretching, core training… There are a multitude of different classes to try.

Gym

With its state-of-the art equipment, the fitness club provides a complete sports training programme encompassing cardio, strength training and improved flexibility. The club is equipped with Skillrow rowing machines, connected treadmills, free weights, Technogym Plurima & Kinesis training stations and more. In total, the fitness club has over a hundred exercises of all levels on offer.

Biomeca Spa

The Spa offers a range of exclusive sessions created by famous biomechanist Jean-Jacques Rivet. Using cutting-edge equipment, the Biomecaswing concept establishes a full assessment of the potential of your muscles, so that you can optimally harness your body’s strength whilst minimising your weaknesses. This unique concept will ensure you get the best out of your body during everyday and sporting activities.

Sauna & Steam Room

With a dry heat of 85°C, the sauna will help eliminate toxins from your body and trigger feelings of wellbeing thanks to a release of endorphins, helping you sleep and relax. To revitalise yourself, head towards the nearby ice fountain and give your body a rub to close your pores. The benefits of a steam room speak for themselves. Heated to 45°C, the hot steam helps open pores and eliminate toxins. Not only does it detoxify the body, but a steam room is also the perfect place to relax, unwind and release muscular tension.

The Infinity Pool

The Terre Blanche Resort’s signature feature, the infinity pool, provides a panoramic view of the hills of the Pays de Fayence. Heated all year round to 28°C, it is the ideal place for you to relax on one of the sun loungers or in a private cabana.

Jacuzzi

In the shade of the lush vegetation, the more curious among you will discover a vast Jacuzzi, hidden out of sight. Equipped with pressurised water and forced air injection systems, you will enjoy a moment of pure peace and relaxation right in the very heart of nature.

Vitality Pool

You will find the Vitality Pool at the end of the swimming pool, heated to 35°C. Outside, relax in the heart of nature, enjoying the bubble beds, water jets and gentle fountains.

Indoor Swimming Pool

The Spa’s jewel in the crown. With its white pillars, big bay windows opening onto the garden and sunshine streaming in through the skylight, the indoor pool is the very definition of opulence. Heated to 28°C, this 20 m pool is dedicated to relaxation and keeping in shape. Plunge into the deep blue waters and soothing atmosphere.

Sensory Shower

With its different flow settings, the sensory shower will awaken different sensations as the water touches your body. Experience this unique feeling in an area which is entirely dedicated to wellness and relaxation. The laconium is the first stage before a sauna. Heated to 40°C, with a humidity level of just 20%, it is a perfect way to acclimatise yourself to sweating sessions. It is also an alternative for people who do not enjoy the extreme heat of a sauna or the high humidity of a steam room.

Zen Space

Next to Terre Blanche Spa’s beautiful Provençal cottage, the Zen Garden is an idyllic setting for meditation, relaxing in a comfortable deckchair or enjoying the gentle sun of Provence as it shines through the luxuriant, green leaves of this lush, natural oasis. Another peaceful and tranquil spot, Terre Blanche Spa’s Infusion Tea Room is open every day between 12:00pm and 3:30pm. Savour a cup of tea in these intimate surroundings, accompanied by delicious sweet treats prepared by the talented Pastry Chef. Relaxation Room

With subdued lighting and relaxation beds that can be reclined as you wish, the two relaxation rooms provide a space for absolute relaxation where you can recharge your batteries and boost your energy levels. Apples, dried fruit, tea, bottles of water and headphones are available to help you relax for as long as you wish and to make you comfortable.

Yoga & Pilates

Realise the benefits of Pilates and yoga during group sessions provided in the fitness club.
